New Jersey Open Public Records Act (OPRA) Requests

The Open Public Records Act (OPRA) is a New Jersey law that replaces the old "Right to Know Law" and gives the public greater access to government records maintained by public agencies in New Jersey. The public has the right to examine or obtain copies of those records that are not subject to exceptions from disclosure. The law applies to all levels of New Jersey government and covers various formats of records, including paper, electronic, and audio.
