The Fairfield Police Foundation is a unique non-profit organization (501.C3) formed by Fairfield residents and business owners to assist the police department with funding essential equipment and training that is outside of the municipal budget. While the department maintains a liaison officer, the foundation has its own president, board of directors and by-laws and is a separate entity from the police department.

Through private donations, the Fairfield Police Foundation provides the department with much needed equipment, technology, and training. Donations directly purchase many important items ranging from highly specialized life safety program training to state of the art technology and special operations equipment not commonly found in police departments of towns the size as Fairfield. This access to important equipment, programs and training they need helps them to do their jobs most effectively.

The Fairfield Police Foundation would like to continue to raise funds through your generous patronage and provide the entire Fairfield Police Department with meaningful support. There is much more that could be provided to them which will benefit all of us.

Fundraising for the foundation takes place through a mailer that occurs once a year, as well as through several other fundraising events including a gala dinner and golf outing.
