Fairfield (NJ) The Fairfield Police Department announces the arrest of Natalie Stoller (39) of Boonton, N.J. for driving while under the influence on March 2, 2022. On that date, at approximately 7:43 PM, Officers Vincent Purcell, Jayson Sickles and Gia Gagliano were dispatched to 18 Alan Drive on a report of a single car motor vehicle crash. The officers arrived and located a white Infiniti SUV in the middle of the roadway. The vehicle was unoccupied and had heavy front-end damage. Stoller and a juvenile were located on the front lawn of 18 Alan Drive.
As the officers continued their investigation, it is alleged that Stoller displayed signs and symptoms consistent with an individual who was under the influence to include the odor of an alcoholic beverage on her breath, rambling and incoherently speaking, and difficulty maintaining her balance. Field sobriety tests were administered and based upon the totality of the circumstances, Stoller was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters for processing and breath testing. Stoller provided the name of a responsible party who responded and took custody of the juvenile.
In addition to being charged with driving while intoxicated she was also charged with driving under the influence with a minor as a passenger and endangering-abuse/neglect of a child and several other motor vehicle summonses. She was eventually released on her own recognizance pending an initial appearance at the Essex County Superior Court on April 8, 2022.
(It should be noted that the charges against Stoller are merely allegations and that he is presumed innocent until he either pleads guilty or is found guilty in a court of law)
